This is a view of the bank looking west from the other side
of Main St. The 1st National Bank was built on this location in 1902
after the "big" Marissa fire that destroyed three blocks of the business
district including the Hamilton house which stood at the same location.
In 1911 fire again struck and gutted the bank.
