Robert P. Delre, Sr., 63, of Sparta, IL, died December 10, 2000 at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born March 7, 1937 at Newstead, New York to Bambino and Julia (Martin) Delre.
Surviving Mr. Delre are eight children: Tracy (Mike) Coffey of Chester, IL; Terri (Donal) McKinney of Chester, IL; Toni (Steve) Mitchell of Waterloo, IL; Tina (Martin) Giordano of Red Bud, IL; Robert P. (Gail) Delre, Jr. of Ellis Grove, IL; Robin (David) Goetting of Red Bud, IL; David Delre of Red Bud, IL; Christopher Delre of Belleville, IL.
Also surviving are three brothers: Dominic (Bernice) Delre of Akron, New York; Harry (Eleanor) Delre of Prescott, Arizona; Tom Delre of Montclair, California.
Mr. Delre was Grandfather to twenty children, Great- Grandfather to four children, Uncle to six children, and Friend to many.
Robert was a U.S. Navy veteran.
