Advanced 2000 Commercial
Air Diving Helmets
The Advanced 2000 is manufactured in Illinois
by Able Marine Divers, owned and operated by Bob Johnson,
a veteran commercial diver. Johnson acquired Advanced
2000 from Divers Exchange in 1992, and continues the
standard of excellence in commercial diving equipment
serving customers world-wide. Advanced 2000 sales, service,
and replacements parts are always available for your
diving needs.

DESCRIPTION
The Advanced 2000 Diving Helmets are constructed
of lightweight fiberglass which is many times stronger
than brass, giving maximum protection to the entire
head. Offering high-impact resistance and electrically
nonconducting fiberglass, the Advanced 2000 diving helment
provides excellent insulation when a diver is using
electrical underwater cutting or welding equipment.
The fiberglass helmet is attached to a brass
base and sealed with a silicone rubber caulking material
and fastened with stainless steel rivets. Air-control
assembly, exhaust assembly, communications, and neck
rings are attached to the brass base.
The figure above shows the Air Diving Helmet.
A silencer system inside the helmet reduces noise levels
and provides excellent wiping action to keep CO2 at
the lowest possible level. With the Advanced 2000 helmet,
excellent communication capabilities and elimination
of ear infections result from keeping the diver's head
completely dry.
APPLICATIONS
The Advanced 2000 may be worn with a bathing
suit, wet suit, dry suit, or hot-water suit; and used
with fins, rubber boots, or weighted boots. The diver
can vary the amount of weight he carries on his weight
belt so that he can work heavy or light -- allowing
for extreme versatility in water. The helmet can be
put on and taken off by the diver without assistance.
A standby diver can be dressed in neck ring and jock
with helmet removed but still connected to air and communications
lines. The diver can put on his helmet and dive in less
than a minute.
